This too was painted in its entirety with a little piece of hard plastic. Almost akin to a little trowel. It’s rather exciting and allows one to go extremely short (thick) with the paint.

One of my favorite areas just south of Des Moines to study the Iowa landscape.

So I have been combing the central Iowa landscape looking for those special little places in that special early or late light. Low and behold this day presented a nice little jewel of a moment.
